Today’s question comes from George Lary and reads as follows:
“Devon, I’m a member of Web Copy Cat and my Question is, what would you do after the sites are set and ready to go. Step by step, what would you do to make them work?”

Great information. Thanks so much for these videos. Do I have to be a member of Web Copy Cat to submit a question?

Hey Devon,
I’ve been following your videos for quite a while now and I always get a laugh and always some good information too. I must congratulate you on your latest idea of question and answer. You really do give a full answer to these questions and don’t fluff and bs your way around as many other marketers do. Thanks for that.
Now, can I make you laugh? I logged into my adwords account today to use the keyword tool (I log in so as not to have to put in a captcha all the time). I only use the account for the tools these days as when I tried advertising some years ago I did my money not knowing what I was doing. However, today when I logged in I got the usual message “None of your ads are running. Can we help?” and under that this one “Your Google AdWords account has been permanently suspended for repeated violation of AdWords or Landing Page and Site policies in this or a related account.” Thing is, I had 3 campaigns that I tried and stopped them when they cost me too much. They were still listed as Google won’t let you delete them, but none of them have run since July 26 2009. So I have been canned for campaigns that have not run for 18 months. Just as well I’m not relying on adwords. So the Google sillyness with marketers continues. I wonder how many others got caught out this time. At least I can still use the tools (for now).
So perhaps my question could be “What is the correct way to set up a campaign in adwords and how should my website and landing pages be structured to prevent problems with Google?”
Thanks for everything,
Alan
Hi! Devon! How do you develop such an awesome electric charismatic persona?
I always appreciate all your video content Devon.
Many thanks.
Kind regards.
Great advice Devon, you’ve got to crawl before you can walk.
I love your WP Lapdance plugin Devon! It’s easy to setup and looks great. And I’m happy to report that it’s already increased my conversion rate! Thanks for that Devon.
My question here is… How can I configure WP Lapdance to only pop up once for each visitor? I’ve used the plugin on my membership site and I’m already getting feedback from existing members that they’re frustrated with the pop up repeatedly interrupting their movements around the site.
Any suggestions? Thanks Devon!
Trish:-)

Hi Devon,
Great advise as usual and another very entertaining video, thanks you for telling us that you will be making a new video each week, now I know at least once a week I’ll get a chance to have a chuckle and a smile on my face.
So can’t way for next week
Regards
David.
Hi Dru,
You can add a video with a link to your optin page with WPLapDance. You could also add an optin box into the exit pop.
Thanks for your feedback!
Devon
Hi Trish,
The current version will pop up once per session. So when your member leaves and returns again it will reactivate. Our programmer is looking at a way for the next version to be scheduled by visitor. Thank you for the feedback and we will keep you posted!
Thanks ![]()

Thanks for the help. I will start today.
I needed to say Thank You for providing this information.
Hi Devon,
Firstly, I like your style!!!
I am a relative newcomer and getting traffic is and has been my greatest sticking point.
Love getting my sites up but from there on things go downhill – unfortunately can’t afford to outsource!
I find it very useful to visit blogs such as yours because it is great to pick up useful tips and get a bit of inspiration going to start my day.
I will definitely be taking your idea of concentrating on two to three areas of link building on board – it’s a really good point because tasks won’t seem so daunting and as you say getting good at some form of link building will certainly be better than NO Link Building.
Thanks again.
Faaaaaaaaaaaaaantastic. Just hustle, hustle, hustle and build up some great content on other peoples’ websites (like Youtube, ezinearticles, Squidoo, Hubpages, Blogger, WordPress) to drive that traffic.
Hi Devon. Hows things in your world?!
I see this is an old video but they say oldies are goodies, or something like that anyway right? lol anyways thanks for doing this one as I had the same problem when I first got my site up. I had no idea of how to get traffic but with time you learn and taking action on what you learn is the way to go.
One can never stop learning but they DO stop implementing, and that is when things may end up going pear-shaped (I don’t even know why they call it pear-shaped lol)
Thanks for the video and have a smashing evening man!
Kind regards
Saqib Khan

Dear Devon,
I am one of your members (webcopy cat). I have got about 80 clicks for your “money making” product but no sales. I am wondering what it takes to boost more traffic & targeted buyers who will pay for the products?
