The CORRECT Way To Sacrifice For Success
Happy Friday Everyone!
Today I want to talk to you about the word “SACRIFICE”.
Normally when we think about sacrifice we think about having to “give something up”…
But that’s only 1/2 of the definition…
So, to recap…
The CORRECT Definition of Sacrifice is:
“Giving up something of a LESSER value to make room for something of a HIGHER value”
But…You do NOT have to sacrifice your kid’s soccer game in order to be successful in your business, you can start by sacrificing the 2 hours you waste on facebook & youtube because the value associated with those actions is MUCH less than the value associated with going to your child’s soccer game
Hope today’s video was helpful!
As always, please feel free to leave you thoughts/comments on today’s video below, AND if you found value in it, feel free to share it with your friends
To YOUR Success,
Devon

Hello Devon!
Thank you for this awesome video!!!
That’s absolutely true, I do spent too much time checking my emails.
And know what? I am slowly unsubscribing from thos gurus’ newsletters that deliver product after product every day.
On the other hand, we are holistic beings. We need wealth, health and relationships in order to funtion well. I daily work on fine tuning the balance between these three aspects of my life.
Again thanks!!
Francesco
Thanks, Devon:
Your right we should sacrifice some things in order get other things that could possible move our businesses to another level, some I wish there was more time in the day to get all of my work done, but answering emails, PMs, messages (social sites) is part of for me not to mention all of my sites that has to be updated.
Thanks again Devon …”PEACE”

One of the best ways to implement your suggestions here is to become a practical list maker. We
forget our habits so easily, that is how they become habits. There is nothing like writing something
down to strengthen resolve and even become aware. To really push for change-say it out loud to the
cat, dog or partner. It might feel foolish, but what lengths are we willing to go to banish “harmless”
trifles which might really be holding us back?
I’m very grateful for all your contributions, you are terrific!

Yea man, I was thinking how could I sacrifice Devon but how would I find someone of a higher value to replace him ??? Life’s never just not that simple or easy it
Another great post Bro Cheers Graham
Devon,
Great video… we all can learn a valuable lesson in sacrifice especially where are time and goal-setting are concerned. Thanks for the insight as usual! M
Hi Devon. Hope you are having a great weekend.
This video was on-point brother. It’s also like the saying goes-sometimes you have to make a short term sacrifice for a long term gain.
I think when it comes to sacrificing, prioritizing is also something that can be thrown into the mix because as you used the facebook comparison to getting your goals done, working towards your goal should be the priority and should outweigh the ‘need’ to stay on facebook all day for example.
Thanks for the video. Keep rocking man.
Kind regards

Great stuff, Devon! One thing I do is batch small tasks so that I make a bunch of phone calls one right after the other, check email only a few times a day, and so on. This way I’m not constantly checking email throughout the day and I can invest that time more wisely.
I also use a separate email account for subscribing to various opt-ins. There are a few that make it to my main email address, but most go to my Yahoo! email. That one I check considerably less often.
HI Devon I just want to think you for the videos and I hope that you will keep on making them.

Hey, Devon:
Really, I could have put 10:19 into my business if I had not spent the one minute opening up my e-mail client and 6:19 watching you tell me top stop doing what I just did, and 3 minutes to write this reply.
Seriously, though, you are absolutely right. E-mail overload and “social surfing” are things people do to avoid being successful. (Yes, success-avoidance is NOT a real “disease” – don’t look it up!) I decided to take 5 days off my J.O.B. to focus on putting something together to move forward.
Thanks for the inspiration and assistance.
