If you want to make money on the internet by teaching internet marketing techniques then the following article should help you better understand the exact steps to take in order to be a success.

Internet marketing is a very popular niche and there is a lot of money to be made on the internet in helping people drive traffic to their websites. But, most people who try to make money online selling internet marketing techniques do it incorrectly. Here are the proper steps to take if you want to start profiting online in teaching others how to market their websites.

Step 1: As opposed to trying to drive traffic to an internet site that just tries to sell your internet marketing product or service, take them to a simple one page site that offers them valuable free information on how to increase their online marketing skills. Opposed to immediately giving them the free advice on the website, you will have them opt in to receive the advice by requiring that they give you their first name and primary email address. In other words, your web-page (or squeeze page) should say something like: “Type in your first name and primary email address in the fields below if you want to get the amazing “Internet Marketing Secrets Revealed” newsletter. If this site is made correctly, then a high percentage of people who are seeking your topic will leave you their contact information and you’ll be building an e-mail list of people interested in marketing online.

Step 2: Once someone has typed their name and email address into the fields on your simple squeeze page site, you should have an autoresponder (or “automatic email sender”) that will email them the free advice you promised. I recommend email delivery tools like Aweber or 1Shopping cart in order to make this happen. The best way to communicate to your new list is to pre-load your autoresponder with at least 7-9 messages so that you end up following up with the person who opted-in for a few weeks or so. This follow-up messaging will get people used to receiving notices from you and help make you seem like the “Internet Marketing Expert” in their opinion. Once a relationship has been built with your new subscribers, they are MUCH more likely to buy a product or service from you in the future (this is where you start generating real money).

Step 3: Once your simple squeeze page and autoresponder are connected, then you’ll want to make it so that the person who just opted in has the opportunity to buy something having to do with internet marketing (thereby increasing your possibility for an immediate sale). The easiest way to do this is to make it so that after the person types their name and email address into your online marketing lead capture page, they immediately land on a thank you page that contains an offer for an internet marketing product that YOU are an affiliate for. In other words, find an affiliate product on Clickbank (or some other affiliate network) and promote that product to your prospects RIGHT after they have typed in their name and email address on your squeeze page.

If you follow these 3 steps, then you should be able to rapidly start receiving income on the internet in the teaching online marketing niche. I’d like to thank all of you for the wonderful feedback you left regarding what the new niche for webcopycat should be. You gave a lot of GREAT ideas and you can bet I’ll be using some of them in the months to come.

For now, I’m excited to announce that the new niche business I’m going to have for you in the WebCopyCat member’s area (on the 15th) will be the Sports Betting Niche!

I’ve decided to go this route for 2 main reasons:

First: I think this is one of those niches that you don’t hear too many people talking about in the internet marketing community because those who are in it are quietly raking in all of the profits and they don’t want you to know about it. So, for the right person (with a little bit of ambition/drive) you can go bananas with this niche!

Second: I looked at the commission amounts for some of the products that are available to be sold in this niche, and let me tell you…THEY ARE FAT!! What I mean is simply that some of the products in this niche for you to be an affiliate of (and that we’re going to integrate with WebCopyCat) have some  pretty BIG commissions associated with them. How does $100/sale sound to you? …yeah - it sounds good to me too!
