Secrets To Effective Selling In Your Home Business

Hi Everyone :-)

I was recently on the phone with a client (who happens to be in an mlm company) and she told me that one of the biggest challenges she faces in her home business is that she’s not very good at getting her prospects to commit to buying her particular opportunity.

I’m actually surprised I’ve never made a video about this before seeing as it is an integral part of the lives of home business entrepreneurs like you and me.

Watch as I reveal the key points to being able to close sales more effectively!

Home Business Success Tip: Communicating With Your List/Subscribers

If you’ve been online for more than 5 minutes, then you know that every single “guru” out there tells you to BUILD YOUR LIST!!

But one thing that is often overlooked is: “Once I build my list, what do I say to them?”

While having an e-mail list is important, it’s only about half of of the solution. The other half, which is just as (if not MORE) important, is how you communicate with your list so as to have a good relationship with them

Hopefully this short video will help shed some light on that subject!

Information Overload Keeping You From Success

Let’s face it….

We all suffer from it

We all get 8 million e-mails from 8 million different experts
telling us 8 million different things to do.

On top of that, we get involved in 8 million different opportunities
and before we know it, we don’t know which way is up.

Virtually every single home business entrepreneur I talk to
says they suffer from information overload!

I’ve made a short video that discusses some surefire ways to stop
having to deal with it!

Enjoy!

Labels and Logos For Your Home Business

Bunch of LogosMany home business entrepreneurs never think about creating a label or logo for themselves, they may feel their business is insignificant or never requires one, but here’s the thing. Your business IS significant and therefore you should do anything you can to help BRAND yourself or establish you as an expert. If you’re going to networking events, seminars or workshops, then chances are you’re meeting potential clients or people who can refer you. You want to appear professional and successful and one of the ways to do that is giving yourself a label and coming up with a company insignia.

I know many people say, don’t label yourself; don’t put yourself inside a box. I call it defining yourself when you attach a label to yourself or your type of business. And what better way of introducing yourself to your visitor is with a defining logo and an immediate brand of who you are and what your business is about?

I often refer to myself as “The Success Renegade”, I named my business after it, and people know me as this label. I am a Home Business Entrepreneur, that’s a label too.

What is your business? Everyone can call themselves a coach, but how about an engineer? An engineer is defined as “a person who carries through an enterprise by skillful or artful contrivance.” Haven’t you heard the term Custodial Engineer for a janitor? Same job description, just a fancier packaging. The main point of a “label” is to describe yourself (or your business) in the least amount of text as possible. Take specific keywords for your business and add something to the end of it, such as -preneur, engineer, expert, you get the idea.

By branding yourself, you’re separating yourself from the rest of the pack, especially if you brand yourself as an expert. People will remember you and your business a lot quicker if you have attached a label and logo to your cards, your websites, and your emails. You use this label and logo on everything you create, respond to, or do. It should be second nature to use this sign everywhere because you want name recognition.

To get a good logo, I wouldn’t create it yourself. Find a graphic artist person, and tell them your idea and let them create it for you. When you have your finished product, make sure they give it to you in different formats such as high resolution for business cards, different colors (in case for print advertising), and a few variety of sizes. Put some thought into your brand and don’t approach the creation of your brand from the “we’ll get a better one later” perspective. You should want your logos and branding to stick with you for a few years so people will associate you with that logo.

You can have variations of it like major companies do: Corporate Brand Logo Evolution

In order to have success in your home business, you have to start thinking big and getting serious about defining you and what you do. To be taken seriously as well, you have to put out the “serious” vibe and really nothing says serious quite like a logo and your own label. So who will you be? An Eco-preneur? A Quantum Reseller?
