Affiliate Tip #2 – Don’t Spread Yourself Too Thin
Affiliate marketing is hot, easy to do, and profitable for just about anyone. I’m writing a series of affiliate tip articles, so hopefully you’ve seen some others that I have written and once you put them together you’ll have a comprehensive guide to becoming successful in affiliate marketing.
Affiliate tip #2 – Don’t spread yourself too thin. If you’re just beginning in affiliate marketing then find one good, solid, quality product or service to promote and test waters that way. You have to find what your talented in or the easiest way that you find to advertise your affiliate link. You may be very comfortable with writing articles, so focus your affiliate link on those. However, you may not be Twitter-savvy so joining that may not be an option. Once you find your ideal promotion materials and strategies then you can begin adding similar affiliate products.
If your first affiliate program is about baby products then you can later expand that affiliate association to include ebooks about potty training, toddler behavior, or sitter services, things of that nature. You expand your niche a little further while still staying inside the barriers. This way your not stretching yourself too thin so the affiliate programs are not clashing, but they are complimenting one another.
Of course one of the easiest ways of combining all of these affiliate programs into one is by having your own website, especially a blog style site. This can incorporate all your affiliate links into one area. Another option is to have a squeeze page and offer a free e-book. This way it builds your email list and you can email your list with new affiliate products you’re promoting, but that’s another affiliate tip to be discussed later.
Don’t let that fool you though, people want quality content. If you don’t offer anything except “buy me” ads then your list and readership will shrink. Create your own promotional products for affiliate programs. You can do how-to videos, be interviewed on podcasts (or create your own), write articles, or contribute to forums or guest blogging somewhere. There are also many community websites out there where you can become an expert at.
Once you’ve gotten a hang of promotion, advertising, and affiliate programs… then is the time to explore alternative niches. By this time, your other affiliate programs may be running on automatic and you can focus on something different. Until then, do one thing at a time and give it the quality time it deserves.
Affiliate Tip #1 - You Don’t Need A Website To Promote Affiliate Programs
With the recent launch of the Renegade Success Secrets Affiliate Program, I have been receiving some questions and concerns with affiliates that they do not have a website to promote their link. They want to take advantage of it, but feel they need a website to do so. So I wrote this in response and decided to make a series out of it! You don’t need a website to promote an affiliate program (but it sure helps!). If you’re an affiliate and have a question, use the Contact form and let me know. If you’re not an affiliate yet, what are you waiting for GO HERE NOW ——> Renegade Success Secrets Affiliates
Affiliate Tip #1 – You don’t need a website, but it sure helps. Many affiliate programs are promoted through websites and that’s where a good chunk of your affiliate income would come from. However, you can promote an affiliate program through writing articles, joining forums or other social media, creating a info-product, and PPC. Let me explain…
Writing articles is free and productive. If you write an informative, high quality article, you can submit it to all the article directories and attach a resource box with your affiliate link in it, down at the bottom. This will establish you as an “expert” and drive traffic to the product homepage via your affiliate link. The amount of articles you could write is limitless, and you can do as many as you want for different affiliate programs or different keywords.
You could always join a forum. If you become part of a community, you can promote your affiliate links through signature files, relevant posts, or in your profile page. This rings true for all types of social media. If you really contribute to these places, then people will pay attention and you can give them your affiliate link. It’s a free option and can be somewhat fun.
Creating an info-product doesn’t have to cost you anything if you have that kind of talent. It’s basically creating a product for viral marketing and you don’t need a website to do it. You could write an ebook, make a video or audio, create a report, or just create something that deals with your affiliate. You can then contact website owners, ezine owners, or forum members to give away your product for free for their members. You can do this for free because your affiliate link is inside of it and you can benefit from that. You let others promote your creation and in turn your affiliate link gets clicked on.
PPC or pay-per-click isn’t free, but you still do not need a website in order to use it. You can set up campaigns for PPC using your affiliate link. You can use places like Adwords by text campaigns or banner campaigns. Your own website is not necessary because most affiliate programs allow you to PPC your link. Just in case though, read the fine print.
Of course the best way of promoting your affiliate product is to have your own website with a squeeze page (in order to get opt-in email addresses) or a blog and linking directly through there. But while you’re building your website or not wanting to deal with that… these tips should help you promote your affiliate link without your own domain.

How to Make Money Online for Beginners – Affiliate Programs
You don’t have to sell your own product online in order to make money. For the best way on how to make money online for beginners you should first try affiliate programs. They come in a variety of products, ways of promotion, and a diverse range of commission levels.
Affiliate programs work by businesses or individuals who are selling a particular product, this could be an informational product sent through email or downloaded or it could be a drop ship item. You sign up to their program and most will provide marketing materials, maybe some graphics, banners, ad copy, or something to help you promote your affiliate link. How you promote your affiliate link is up to you and I’ll explain that in a moment.
One of the most popular affiliate programs Is Amazon. You can sign up to their affiliate program and sell anything from books to CDs and from microwaves to clothes. All of these items are drop ship, but you are not responsible for shipping the items or for customer service. You’re just providing a link between the customer and Amazon, and then you collect your commission.
If you’d rather sell informational products then you can sign up to something like Clickbank which specializes in ebooks, online courses, and things that can be automatically downloaded after purchase. You are still providing a link between customer and company so you don’t have to handle customer service issues (typically) or the actual purchase of the product.
That’s the great thing about affiliate programs. You’re just sending the customer to the company page to buy, so you don’t have to process payments, deal with customer service issues, or technical support. You’re just a link between the two sources.
Once you have found your affiliate programs and/or products you want to promote, now is the time to figure out how to promote these links. You can use social media such as Youtube, Twitter, Facebook, social bookmarking sites, or things of that nature. You can also use PPC (pay-per-click) such as Google Adwords, but this does cost money. There’s also classified ads, email signatures, or commenting on people’s blogs and leaving your link.
Due to the sheer volume of traffic driving strategies, you’d be better off reading up on strategies and finding out what’s best for you according to your budget and your time. This way you make the most of out of your time promoting your link and getting the most coverage so it’s profitable. How to make money online for beginners doesn’t have to be costly or difficult. It can simply be about taking a link and sharing it with a friend.
