How to Make Money Online for Beginners – Stumbleupon

Stumbleupon is not a widely known tool for marketing, but I will explain how to make money online for beginners using this program. It’s free to join, pretty easy to use, and if enough time and effort is spent on it then it can prove to be profitable and invaluable.

Stumbleupon is a social bookmarking website that allows users to “stumble” onto different websites of different categories of their choosing. You could basically add your website to the list of stumbles and then people will randomly fall on your page. That’s the easiest way for people to see your page. However, there are many people who have submitted their URL so you have to be sure yours is well in the mix.

Sign up to Stumbleupon and download their free toolbar. It is safe to use and necessary for this marketing technique. You can submit as many URLs as you want, but it’s recommended to only do a few so you don’t appear spammy. The best way to get your own URL is to join an affiliate program such as Clickbank or Paydotcom and finding a product to promote within it. The hoplink they give you will be the URL that you submit.

Using the toolbar you can stumble onto as many pages as you’d like. Don’t forget to rate them and if you really like them, leave a review. You can also rate and review your own pages.

If you notice one particular “stumbler” who stumbles a lot, you can friend request them, It’s good to make friends on Stumbleupon because then you can begin stumbling that person’s blog posts or websites and perhaps that connection can benefit you because they in turn will stumble you.

You can see how active someone is by clicking on their profile. You want to make sure that you stay within the same interests as the websites you’ve been submitting. The number one mistake on how to make money online with beginners is that they try to sell products to an audience who has nothing to do with the product. So keep your categories and friends within your links niche.

Stumbleupon can be useful if used as intended and it has a lot of potential of reaching many people every single day. Just don’t forget to stumble other people’s pages and not just your own. Contribute good links, make new connections on there, and participate in sharing and “you scrub my back and I’ll scrub yours”… this way you benefit from another person’s friends when they stumble on your link.
