I have a travel website, http://www.LibertyTravelServices.com. It also has a biz website that I have not renamed yet from the default website of http://www.ytb.com/ChgoMike .

The business side has a lot of potential to add to my downline. I need help in getting the word out on both the travel site and also the business side.

From what I have seen from your videos the MLM / Affiliate side is right in line with your training.

Hi Devon, First I want to thank you for taking your time to help and answer questions. Ok, so I would like to start a JV relationship with people and get my product into the marketplace. I will continue to blog, article market, and the like…. but I think that I need ” Credibility by Association”. So my question is do you think that this internet marketing thing can be done solo?

My personal belief is no, and that an internet marketer can be compaired to a Christian who needs the Church. The joint ventures partners in this example are like the Church who give glory and exposure to your business.

I absolutely understand the premis of forming relationships to generate a list for nurturing and money generating. It is probably not rocket science but I am overwhelmed with how to begin to “plan” how I need to proceed. Thanks Devon

I Listened to a recording of your Tues. night call. Finally someone comes out and gives
step by step instructions. I have been on your list for about 2 years now and have learned alot from you. Your home biz list builder I think is the best tool on the internet for list building.

I am guilty of jumpimg from program to program, both direct sales and mlm. I have looked
at listened to other mentors online, Mike Dillard, Tracy Biller, Just to name a few.

Tracys Biller Teaches more of an old school aproach to mlm…Listening to all his Training
then calling geneolgy leads and applying what you have learned in the training to build
an mlm downline.

You teach a list building and relationship building aproach. How to position yourself as
an expert with content.
I think there are pros and cons to both. I think with old school you need to be less technically
savy. I think that getting your downline to do as you are doing ie calling leads from
geneolgy lists, would be harder. It seems that callingleads though if got proficient, has
less distractions…I just think the internet can be a distracting place.
I guess what I am trying to ask is this…in your opinion do both methods work? Does it depend
on your personality etc. Tell me your honest opinion.

With a system Like Home Biz List builder…Setting it up would not be my problem.
The hardest part for me is getting steady traffic to the site without going broke
Im thinking for now I do not even want to be in any mlm opportunity, I just want to
concentrate on list building, and promoting a few affiliate programs while I am building
my list. I am actively promoting Home biz list builder…I am just not useing it right now.
Also I already have a four or five hundred person list at Get Response. Will home biz
list builder work with Get Response Autoresponder?

Could you tell me a little more about…3 hour prosperity….reading the website I did not
understand it totally.
Ok thats my story…any advice and direction you can give me is greatly appriciated. Oh
and by the way you have proved to me that relationship marketing works… why because

I have been involved with Global Domains International for a couple of years now but I never did anything with it. It seems to me that a lot of people are making a bit of money with this operation and I always hung in there because I did see some potential with the GDI idea. I have no list and limited spare time but I could spend some money if I thought it would be worth my while. What is the FIRST thing you would do to get a GDI business off the ground ?

My obstacles are getting the right people to the Affiliate Website I have been given in order to make sales. I have tried all my traffic programs and nothing works.
It has to do with Direct HD TV Satellite Dish, New Receiver, and Cheaper packages than Cable TV users have. I don’t have the link on me.

I wish I knew how to call a number and have thousands of contacts go to that website, somehow there is a way of doing that but I don’t know how, do you?

My name is Mary but most on the internet that have seen any of my sites or spoken with me know me as “makingmagic”. I have built everything that I have on the internet without help of a mentor. Well, in reality there was one who was supposed to be my mentor who caused me more headaches and hassles than all the rest of the 8 months of struggling on my own did combined. That was a short one month adventure that you can be sure I will never do again. I made the mistake of trying to help 5 others learn to do what I had done to try to gain testamonials for my system and to give back to others who were wanting and needing a way to supplement their incomes. Don’t get me wrong, that was not the mistake. The mistake was in trying to bring them also into my very first giveaway at the same time. What happened has been a nightmare. I am resurfacing slowly from this and instead of building my business back again and taking months, I need to learn what you would recommend as a fast main offering (in any form as I am members to many things). I have a list of more than 42,000 as well as credits in more than a thousand free traffic sites. I own two dating sites, a people search, CB mall, Amazon Stores, two Adboards and capable of making more. I have resell rights to thousands of articles and books in hundreds of niches. I have a program of some sort for almost everything that could be done with a website today as well as thousands of fonts and templates to work with. This all sounds like I should be doing great. Wrong!!!

I would have been fine and was starting to see real progress. Now after a mentor that caused problems at the same time as attending college full-time, facing finals and a family matter that needed my assistance would have caused a dent in my advertising and earning my rankings as well as the giveaway.

I know you will not know of the giveaway. Few did thankfully, because it makes me feel like a failure but I have not given up. The giveaway will still happen in the next few weeks. There will be no advanced warning as I will not have JV’s in the normal form. I also have learned that I am not the only one who either gets people to agree to JV and then do nothing or they join and want to stay but do nothing for themselves. Helping the newbies get ready for the giveaway when they choose to only work when they want and trying to be helpful, I avoided my own business advertising and now must build again. I know how to drive SEO for free and even how to use keywords and meta-tags to help with google rankings. I have a list of more than 3,000 search engines and can do this on my own. I also have two blogs and my own social site, 5 domains and numerous affiliate memberships and websites.

What I would like to know, is with all of this. What is the fastest way to earn some really residual money so that I can afford to finally move from my sons home and be on my own again? I don’t wish to wait weeks or months. I want to see money now!!! I have paypal, clickbank, alert pay and safe pay. I have scripts for websites and more and templates for all types of sites. I also want a regular job until things are moving properly with my business. To do this I need to move from where I am here to where I can get access to jobs and be able to get to them. This means that I must make the first $1,500 to $2,000 to move to an area with jobs available to be able to put a roof over my own head while waiting for the first pay check. I am already seeking the job but need to be able to pay for the move and the rent, food, etc. until the first check.

Now if you were faced with this type of situation and determined to move and work but needed funds to survive until a pay check, exactly what would you do with the available resources to get this done the fastest way possible and what would be the exact steps you would take to manage to do this?

I really can’t wait to see the answer to this one as I have been struggling with this situation for the past couple of weeks and was hoping to be moved by the first of May which is now out of the question so instead of giving up, I am adjusting the time frame but nothing more.

All that I can see is that every net promoter is just trying to sell you something and then get a monthly fee. Some even admit this and still try. I do not expect guarantees but WHO do you trust to spend time and money? I guess I am asking why you?

I would like to know how to convert my subscribers to customers or biz partners, since I’m not having much success on this (less than 2% of my subscribers are buying on my primary biz opp products or my ebook). I’m actually loosing money (domain and hosting maintaining and a little budget of 150€/month on google ads). As for the time, I don’t regret giving advice to my customers, in fact, I enjoy that, but a girl has to earn a living, don’t you think?

Hello Devon: If you have read Bernard’s comment, above mine on Sept. 14th, I just want to “ditto” it.

I, too, need someone to liteally take me by the hand, step by step and explain and teach. I have read many many ebooks and “regular” books on internet marketing, creating a website, list building, how to start your own home basedbusiness, etc. etc.

I have been in the beauty profession for 20 plus years and have written an ebook. It has no fancy cover to merchandise it. I have great ideas in my head but marketing and merchandising on the internet is so very very different than doing this in “real life”.

I am determined to create a business on the web, but I, too, am “outing” my stupidity and ignorance. Is there anyone out there who will really really help without charging so very much money?? I believe in giving back and have done so within my profession. Does this concept exist??

Oh well, you probably cannot help me but just thought I would express myself. Oh by the way, Bernard, if you do find that specilal someone who will actually lead you step by step ,without having to refinance my house, could you please let me know. thanks.

I do not understand if it is all for communication or simply publicizing as no one talks to other people. Or do they do it privately? Hi Devon, thank you for taking time to educate us, answer our questions and also have some serious fun along the way! My question and biggest problem with Internet Marketing is how many different niches to market at once. Easy, hang on I know you say to pick one thing and perfect it before moving on and that makes sense to me. However, the problem I have is some niches outside the I M niche, are only somewhat profitable. Therefore, I often strive to market in several different niches at once. Would you caution against that? Some gurus suggest getting involved in many different niches and some say do not do that. This conflicting info is making my head spin!

I guess for quite some time now i have struggled with the ‘how to’ concept of internet marketing… I would just like to have that business model that actually brings $1 to me from an honest effort. That would be such a ‘rush’ I can’t describe.
I have bought this and that, well, you can imagine. I think that one (of many) of my obstacles is not necessarily the steps, but the SEQUENCE of the steps, to make a campaign successful. E-mail, squeeze page, landing page, I don’t even know how you got my email address, I wish that I understood it all but I really don’t.
I’m not desparate, although sometimes I feel that way, but I am detemined to learn the right ways, or methods, to accomplish my goal of financial independence (from the 9-5 grind of the corporate world).
I know that you probably get hundreds of requests like this, but I have felt a certain comfort reading some of the material that I have read that you have shared over the internet. I somehow don’t feel alone in my struggle. I would really like to be able to share the knowlege that I am able to aquire with others, after all, the internet will, if not is, our world.

How do you make sure that your new subscribers see your offers? If you have already informed your list about product a, product b and product c, how do you go back and let the people that are new to your list know about those products without repeating yourself to your long time subscribers?

Great job with your motivational videos. I enjoy your site. I think after you have a site built and you’re working on traffic, that’s when the motivation needs to be there. I’m working every day for traffic and it can sometimes get tedious. This is when the biggest distraction can occur. How do you handle distractions while waiting for success?
