Hi Devon
I would love to see a Personal Finance niche but i know you already have a debt niche on the web copycat system, so it may be too similar.
But it would help me market my personal finance e book and audio program better.
As for the lasik surgery, i say go for it!

September 15, 2010

Aloha Devon, well how about something in the Mobile field. That’s an upcoming marketing that is untouched. Or tattoos designs..Lol

PS…try contacts first and see if you feel comfortable with it and then pursue lasik surgery. What ever you feel comfortable with. Or pray about it! I hope I shared some kind of good input. :)

I would suggest lasix surgery. I have had it and I wish I could have done it sooner.
I also think social is a going thing.

Hi Devon and Tera,
I think at this point in time it has to be the Social Media Niche. I know that I need all the help I can get in that area.
I have not had the eye surgery but I do know a few people that have. They love it. Devon if this surgery will make your life better then do it. I will stand by your decision and back you up on it.
I appreciate both of you.

Thank you
Linda

1. social media
2. Re lasik surgery: I’m approaching it that the technique is still too new to go for it – I hear ads where guys are talking about “their lasik technique is going to fix the other guy’s lasik surgery results” – wouldn’t want that happening to MY eyes! As for what the ladies think: a little thing like glasses isn’t going to stop them OR you – the next time you rip a phone book in half, the right person will be there for you :-)

Stress Management and Time Management for Internet Marketers and Startups.
Syptoms of Stress Overload Ie: panic attacks, short temper, how to not affect famiily members and how they can deal with the stressed person. Uplifting relaxatiion methods.
I think a lot of people could use help in these areas!
Link above is one of many but at least closely related to topic

Yes, I had lasik surgery about 8 years ago and I love NOT wearing glasses. It works best if you can’t see far away without glasses – that’s nearsighted. I almost forgot they shot a video of the surgery showing how they sliced and diced the retina. Best surgery I ever had!!

NOW, for the Niche…why not a PHYSICAL PRODUCT that goes with everything on line already. Doesn’t everyone have a dirty car or two? If you want impress the ladies, what better way than to wax and polish your car in minutes with http://www.ProductionCarCare.com

Adding physical products to digital downloads gives you more credibility and a local address too. If you don’t want to stock the products, you can have them drop-shipped directly to your customer who has already paid you. PROFESSIONAL CAR DETAILING SUPPLIES

Hi, Devon. Definitely anything to do is “How-To” thing in Social Media (Twitter, Facebook) or Blog to connect more qualified people. And market your business effectively without too salesy.

Honey, you look good with and without glasses so do what your gut tells you. (Glasses do not stop women.)

As for niches, yeah-social, mobile and LOCAL as that is a niche that’s easier for a lot of people and some of the lessons I’ve read are pretty complicated but I don’t think they need to be.

Sub-niches in IM are ok but at this point are somewhat overdone, I think. I’d wait on those, you can do them anytime.

September 15, 2010

Well now, I trying to come up with a niche as well. I think there is a dime a dozen internet markinging stuff out there already, kinda overloaded. Most of which, people only get sinppets and leave you hanging.

So, your a smart Guy, why not do a niche on how to find a niche.
l. Take us through your process, what tools you used to find a niche.
2. How did you determine what would make that niche work. For example, say you choose a niche like , blogging… how would you create a twist in blogging that would make your blogging niche method different than anyone elses.?
3. How to determine if there is a lot noise about your niche, which means you will be able to duplicate your niche into many different ways of getting your product out there.
4, How to determine if your going to use your niche as text product, video product or a physical product.
5. show the steps to putting your niche together (video’s would great here)
6. How you market your niche product and how you would drive traffic to it.
7. Most importantl: How does your niche improve/product improve the lives of your customers and provide them a solutions.

Finding your niche is a great idea, Many people struggle with this all the time, even if you already have one. People are always looking for ways to find a niche. Plus finding your niche has lot noise( in other words, lot interest,) and is the basic foundation of any business in which to build a upon. If you make a niche on” how to find the right niche for you”…you would also be able to market your product in many forms. Being able to have many forms of your product/niche will provide alternative ways of selling your product at different levels, from a report, ebook, cd/dvd, combining two three of the products, a membership site, even to doing a seminar on gotomeeting or what ever.

Oh an now that given you a niche,,,,I think you should give each person who gives answers, as you will take the answers that people give you, which will become your outline for your niche product and sales copy/video/cd/dvd. A free copy of your niche product once it is created.

Lasik Laser Eye Surgery: Now since I lost an eye, due to fishing accident, One learns just how important your eyes are. No surgery is risk free. According to the “Review of Optometry” journal, up to one in six people who undergo laser surgery end up with complications that affect their eyesight, such as distorted vision.
Read more at Suite101: How to Decide on Laser Eye Surgery: Pros and Cons of Lasik Corrective Procedures for Eyes http://www.suite101.com/content/how-to-decide-on-laser-eye-surgery-a144667#ixzz0zcpIZ6yG

It is hard to say if Pro’s outwight the cons on this type of surgery, I would also suggest trying contacts first, (although I think your cute with your glasses :) . 1 in six people who have had complications from laser surgery is little to high for me. So do some research from optometry medical journals, other people who had it done. Your eyes are one of most important organs of your body, so take your time- research and really think it over.

Be well My Friend
Maggie

September 15, 2010

1. Go with the Moble niche. It’s new, could be fun and no one seems to know how yet, at least not correctly.

2. Try the contacts forat least 3- months first. My hubby wishes he had.

Hi Devon.
Not sure I know enough about it to answer Q#1, but I’m an somewhat of an expert on Q#2.

I strongly advise you NOT to get LASIK done, and for several reasons …
(BTW, before we go any further, I just want to be quite clear on something – I’m not selling anything here, so please read the following with an open mind.)

1st, it’s RISKY. Sure, there are only serious complications in 2-4% of cases, depending upon the quality of the surgeon or “equipment operator”. But that means 1 in 50 to 1 in 25 people have serious complications. For me, that is, and was, way too big a chance to take with something as important as my sight. But, … it’s your eyes we’re talking about, not mine. Do YOU want to take that risk with YOUR eyesight? and those 2-4% are only the serious problems we know about. There might be longer-term problems no-one knows about yet because they’ve got 10+year incubation periods. And the common known complications are no picnic – dry eyes, WORSE night vision, starring, halos, …
Quote from lasikcomplications dot com “Several professional golfers have reportedly experienced complications such as night vision problems, chronic dry eyes, or deteriorating vision after LASIK including Kenny Perry, Retief Goosen, Kevin Na, Paul Stankowski, Ian Leggatt, Vijay Singh, John Jacobs, Paul Parajeckas, Peter Lonard, Padraig Harrington, Scott Hoch and Tiger Woods.

In November, 2008, Tiger Woods’ surgeon, Dr. Mark E. Whitten, was ordered by a jury to pay $850,000 in a LASIK malpractice lawsuit brought by a patient who claims permanent eye damage as a result of LASIK.”
And you can bet none of them went to any old mass-market operation to get it done.

2nd, it’s not an immediate 100% or permanent solution. Tiger Woods had to have a repeat procedure a year after having it first done to try to get better results after his vision started to regress. Many Lasik clinics offer free second or more repeat procedures – why? Because they NEED to.

3rd, it’s NOT EVEN NECESSARY. No, I’m not talking about using contacts or staying with your glasses. I wasn’t happy with either or those two options either, so I don’t expect you to be.
No, what I’m talking about is something that is free, easy to do anywhere, and best of all RISK-FREE. I’m talking eye exercises. Yes, exercises for your eyes. And I’m living proof they work.
I now have 20/20 in one eye and better than 20/20, that is 20/15, in the other.
And I may not have stopped improving yet!!!
This I did from myopia of -3.75 in the left eye (now 20/15) and -2.75 in the right eye (now 20/20).
I Still have a tiny bit of astigmatism in the right eye, which is probably why it’s not 20/15 yet too.
Oh, and I discovered when I started this process that I had a lazy left eye. After years of going to optometrists who either didn’t spot it, or didn’t feel they needed to tell me. That got fixed by this process too.

Everything I found out about this was just through the internet, although you might be able to find a behavioral optometrist who can help you there in the US. I didn’t pay a thing to anyone, though, apart from progressively weaker contact lenses. You should have seen the looks on the
faces of the sales clerks in the optometrists where I was buying them, it was hilarious.

Anyway, my right eye went from -2.75 to -1.00 in two weeks! And in five weeks, I was lens free in that eye.
The left eye was more complicated, and actually got a bit worse to start with because it was lazy and the right eye dominant, and because the right eye got better first it became even more dominant and the left even more lazy. That’s how I discovered it was lazy. Didn’t last long, though. I did even more exercises, and concentrated on the left eye, and it soon started improving too. Within two and a half months I was free of lenses in both eyes.

So look up eye exercises and the Bates method. Sure, you’ll find some folks selling ebooks. There’s an ebook for sale for everything these days, you know that more than anyone, I guess. But there are plenty of free resources to find too, if you’re a little more persistent.

Need any pointers, just drop me a line.
And good luck, whatever your choice.

Hey Devon…there is so much out there about blogging, but something about the etiquette in social media. Like Lorraine’s ideas as well.
Re: Lasik Surgery. Double check, but I believe that while it is wonderful to be able to see without glasses or contact lenses, the surgery may have to be repeated later down the road. Just sayin’

September 15, 2010

Hi Devon,
I like the idea on mobile information.

My husband and I both had lasik about 10 years ago. It was fine. I later had to have cateract surgery, but my husband’s eyes are doing great. I am sure the techniques are much improved from 10 years ago which was not bad. Just make sure you go to a reputable doctor. We had ours with a doctor in Athens, GA. Be sure to get references.

1. Blogging, as it’s a core component of many Internet Marketer’s business models.

2. Lasik: DO IT! I had mine done over 2 years ago and the difference is amazing. I’ve got 20/20 vision with it. I see more clearly now than at any time that I had glasses (which I’d had for 16 years). Plus no worries about grabbing, losing, buying, or breaking glasses anymore!

DEVON,
I WOULD HAVE TO AGREE ON THE SOCIAL NICHE. EVEN IF YOU COULD DESIGN A NEW SOCIAL SITE JUST FOR ALL OF US NICHE MONEY MAKERS. LOL.

I HAVE NOT HAD THE LASIKS BUT A FEW FRIENDS HAVE AND THEY LOVE IT. I WOULD LOVE TO HAVE IT MYSELF BUT AT THIS TIME IT’S NOT PERMISSABLE.

September 15, 2010

Seems Social Media is of strong interest Devon and I know for a fact that you and all of the members utilizing the Web Copy Cat system, like myself, could benefit from Devon Brown checking out the amazing “done for you” social media program launching this Sunday. Check out my link above, look at the packages and the LOW prices and let me know what you think. You are my mentor, I need a second set of eyes and you are already superior at network marketing and MLM!! Please let me know what you think.

I had laser eye surgery about 7 years ago and it is wonderful to be able to walk around without glasses!! Go for it!

!. I would like to see social media and blogging, but social media is #1 for me.
2. You look great without your glasses. Have you ever tried contacts? If you don’t like or want them, I have friends who had the lasik surgery and they all had good results from it. That is something you will need to talk to your eye doctor about tho.

Rock On!

The best thing for stress is to make things as easy as possible,
As we know in these difficult times people are spending money that they can ill afford,
Think what a few DOLLARS/POUNDS WOULD DO TO THE AVERAGE JO PUBLICS PEACE OF MIND, Think about it you dont need to become rich overnight but a few extra QUID/BUCKS

Devon 1st of all you don’t need lasik surgery so leave it alone you look fine the way you are now on to new niche i think you should try mobile marketing it’s an up in coming thing not a lot of people know about it.

September 15, 2010

I see that social media and mobile media seem to be a big hit here. But I wonder how well that will work out since there a lot on social media on net anyway. On Mobile , my cell phone company Verizon has informed me that you can have your cell phones block now from any marketing adveristements. I know many people who have done so, cause of many ad compaines who will market for you have been indating the cell phone messages. In fact I just block mine recently cause I didn’t want text messages using up my minutes if they left say on prime time.

Social networks are begining to crack down more on marketing your next best thing. In fact FB has gone to where you can buy ad space to do so.

In either case, wonder how long both types of these niches will last. Therefore, I still think if stick to a niche that is the basics of building a stong foundation with advance techniques that will improve your business, will by far last longer and be more productive for both you and the people you trying to reach.

September 15, 2010

Hi Devon, I think a sub-niche with blogging will be the way to go as long as u show people “How” to do it step-by-step.

As for ur glasses, you are a very handsome brother but if you want to make a change and get the surgery go ahead and do it just be safe – check references, do ur homework you know ur due diligence first. Many blessings 2u, Peace & Blessings,

September 15, 2010

1. can a niche be set up as Educational Site for Newbies’ Startups to educate them on their
initial business requirements. All the web programs just mention stuff like autoresponders,
data recording tracking, list building sources, outsourceing, and other aids for starting and
getting a business functional. My experience has been and still is a problem getting the
starting set up before trying to make the business work. Very expensive learning curve and
path to perpetual failure.

2. Devon, you better think a long time and investigate the eye surgery, including the eye
doctor who will perform the procedures. Much successful experience by the doctor is a
must have and a few patient references will boost your confidence, especially if they are
totally honest with you. This type surgery is a one time deal and it has to be right. Think
about how carefully you select the web businesses before you make any recommendations.
Wish only the best for you on the eye corrective procedures,
Lyle.

HI Devon,

FB and Twitter are so in demand right now. And I believe there is a huge market surge especially in FB.

I had Laser surgery 10 years ago. I too wished I took action and got it done before. If you need suggestions let me know. I went to the same doctors that did Tiger. It was really a Godsend. And I still can remember feeling, so “FREEEEE” from those glasses. We skydiving and scuba diving that summer and without having to worry about the contact falling off while I am 30-100′ below sea level. Oh yeah, and the ladies…. they will def be getting a closer look ;-) So go for it! You will be so glad you actually did it dude. Good luck which ever direction you decide to go. You will be fine.

September 16, 2010

Hi Devon,
I am not sure as to what niche works the best, using social sites require followers, and as I have only just really got into Facebook and twitter I do not have many contacts. Blogging is something I have never tried before, and do not know how to go about it.This needs to be a teaching area for us newbies to internet marketing, as I have dedicated a lot of time to this and I have been in this now for maybe one month and have not yet made an income,so help is needed in whatever niche is decided. I do have a web site for online shopping but this is to cover a wide variety of products. http://bit.ly/9HdN8K
A friend of mine did suggest the maternity market as a possible niche product.

As for the surgery, it is always what makes you feel comfortable that helps with the decision.
A last comment, financially I am at zero funds and need this too work for me. As your system is so far the best that I have found I want to continue trying, I am sadly not good with computers and make many mistakes,

September 16, 2010

Hi Devon,

Iam not sure about question #1……. but the eye surgery, sometimes it doesn’t work out the way it should there are a lot of risks. My mom had it done. Before surgery she could watch tv without her glasses, when she went to have it done they said she would be able to read without glasses and might not need them any more… she had two friends that had it done and there eyes are perfect.. My mother-in-law had one eye done, because they do one eye at a time.

After she had her first eye done it wouldn’t stop leaking, so she never went in for the second eye.

My mom decided to get it done, her first eye came out fine she was happy, she could see without her glasses. Went for her second eye, she ended up with double vision, that no one could fix. They said it was a weak eye mussel, but who knows the doctor could of slipped and something went wrong. They said she could go for another eye surgery, but again there was a risk that she could go blind. She is now stuck with the double vision for life.

Now she needs to wear stronger glasses all the time! She cried for along time too,
It was very sad.

Well everyone is different, her two friends were ok with it, my mother-in-law had a leaky eye. I guess its better than double vision.

There is a risk, they make you sign some papers saying that you are aware of the risks.

Myself I wouldn’t do it!

Good Luck!

Pam

1. A niche on blogging or social media would be good.

2. I think you look better with the glasses. Surgery can be tricky. Based on the experience of my friend who got it done, it may not be turn out as you expect.

All the best!

Hi Devon, Been working the web copy cat for about 1 week now.
I’m going to keep at it. You seem like a legit, real person, trying to help others out.

As far as a niche, I guess everyone is into facebook, twitter etc. so that would be good, but what about something like solar panels, or something green, thats pretty hot too.

I took some courses on mobile marketing. They all seem to make great sense, but I got ZERO sales, I mean zero, big fat zero, so I am sticking with you and going to keep working it!
Go for the eye surgery!

Thanks
Annette

Hey Devon, as I know alot of guys whom I work with. We all into music, movies and series. With this in mind I think a niche similar to this which can generate a 2nd income. Another idea would be gadgets, e.g building model toys for adults, just a thought.
