Great update on facts. I have a son who will be in college in two years. What will it be like for him?

It would be interesting to see where the facts are coming from and how reliable those sources are.
I remember when I was in college my team was asked to find economic facts about X country. The information we had was so limited that we would fail the assignment. A team mate said he would take care of it.
On the presentation day he came with all these facts and statistics and we were congratulated by our teacher. The teacher also instructed the rest of the class to take notes as the information presented was going to be used for other assignments.
At that point my team mate turned towards me and asked me in a whisper: Could you tell I made it all up?

Fascinating! Of all the “facts” being drilled into our kids these days in the American substandard school system, how many of these make it past the Dept of Education?
(And what DOES— WILL— it all mean? And how soon?
In the next decade some 90% of all corporate growth will be in China and India, or so I saw predicted a while ago (by Dr Stephen Leeb, I think.)
And by that time hopefully something less than 90% of the US will be OWNED by China, at the rate we’re going. Actually, they’re not so interested in lending us money any more, so I gather we are buying back our own IOU’s. (I tried that once, but when I asked me to cash my check, I refused.)
